– Witness and Outreach –

As a congregation and individually, we reach out to people with an invitation to establish a loving relationship with Christ and in fellowship with the people of Peace Lutheran Church. Witness and Outreach manages Peace Lutheran Church’s ministry of reaching out to visitors making them feel welcome and demonstrating the joy we have that they chose to worship God with us. We encourage newcomers and occasional guests to become part of the Christian family of believers through regular worship and participation in one of the many church ministries. We work to bring the message of God’s Power and Peace to members and associates of the congregation who are unable on their own to attend worship services.

Witness and Outreach works together with other Peace Lutheran ministries where interests overlap. Specifically, we cooperate and coordinate with the Mission Board and Education Team to invite parents of children attending the affiliated Peace Early Learning Center to consider making Peace Lutheran their church home and give their children a Christian education. We constantly look for opportunities to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ and grow Peace Lutheran Church.

– Power and Peace Explanation –

God’s Power is love. God loved you before your birth and wants a loving relationship with you. This relationship gives you the power to do God’s Will and live life obedient to God’s Word; and brings you peace.

God’s Peace is a total sense of well-being. It permeates the entire body and intellect filling you with fulfillment, contentment, and confidence. Knowing that God gives the gift of life everlasting to believers in a loving relationship empowers you to be completely at peace.
